Installation Types

When provisioning a service for NBN, part of the journey will include Installation Type. Pending on the SQ result and service class, it will be able to show some of the below options for you to select.

FTTP

NTD number - if installed

New Infrastructure - if requried

Subsequent Install - Will display as NBN is already on site and will allow for a second service

Will also display all the UNI-D ports, if used or free

FTTB

NBN Transfer - SQ detects an active NBN at site and can transfer

FNN Transition - SQ detects and active FNN (PSTN) at site and can transition from a DSL to NBN

Subsequent Install - Will display is an NBN is already on site and will allow for a second service

FW

NTD number - if installed

New Infrastructure - if required

Subsequent Install - Will display an NBN is already on site and will allow for a second service

Will also display all the UNI-D ports, if used or free

FTTN

NBN Transfer - SQ detects an active NBN at site and can transfer

FNN Transition - SQ detects an active FNN (PSTN) at site and can transition from a DSL to NBN

Subsequent Install - Will display if an NBN is already on site and will allow for a second service

HFC

NTD number - if installed

New Infrastructure - if required

Subsequent Install - Will display if an NBN is already on site and will allow for a second service

If an active service is detected in site, you will be provided with the CPI number that can assist in selecting the correct pair for service (CPI - Copper Pair ID). The platform will recommend the best option, but it is optional and you can select any option.
