Excess Usage Limit is a feature that helps end-users setting a limit of bill charge over the recurring monthly plan fee. You will need to select the Excess Usage Limit when creating or porting a new Service, but can be changed at any time within the Atomic portal.
NOTE: When Excess Usage limit is reached, only calls that would incur charges will be blocked. Any usage that is part of the monthly plan allowance (such as national calls and data usage, for example) will not be blocked.
For example, if you have a plan with $200 allowance and no Excess Usage limit left, any included usage will be depleted from the $200 allowance. Once this $200 allowance is exhausted calls will be blocked.
If a bolt-on is added to a plan, it’s cost will not be counted towards the Excess Usage Limit.
If a bolt-on active, data usage will be depleted from it.
