Missed Call Notification

When a call comes in to an extension, and the call is not answered or goes to Voicemail, the system is capable to send to the user of the extension an email informing them of a missed call.

If Call Forwarding is enabled on the extension, missed call notification emails will not be sent out as the call has left our system and the system no longer manages the call session. If you still want to have your calls forwarded, but want to get missed call notification emails, please use the setting rather then the Call Forwarding setting.

This is turned on by default. To toggle this setting, navigate to Setup > Extensions and click on Edit for the corresponding user. Toggle the Answerpoint setting to turn it on or off.

Missed Call Notifications is also available on Hunt Group’s as well. This is a neat little feature where if you have departments setup and if an incoming call that comes in is not answered, a notification can be sent to the supervisor or manager.

You can activate Missed Call Notifications for Hunt Groups in the Hunt Group settings by entering an email in the ‘Missed Call Notification’ field.
