A brief summary on understanding the various fields within the Extension/User page.

Field Name
Description
ExtensionThe extension number assigned to the user. Alphanumeric only.
Portal UsernameThe username that the user will need to use to sign in to the portal
PasswordThe user password that is used to access the portal as well as connecting to a SIP device
Call WaitingIf the extension should have call waiting capabilities
Private NumberIf toggle is set to on, the CLI for the user will be masked for all outgoing calls
Do not disturbTo enable DND service for the extension
Forward calls when on DND toWhen DND is enabled, this field will allow an incoming call to be forwarded to a specific extension or group.
Missed Call NotificationIf toggle is set to on, an email notification will be sent to the user for any calls missed.
Dial PlanThe dial plan that the user will inherit
CLIThe CLI that the user will display on all outgoing calls
SMS CLIThe Sender ID that will be used for an outgoing SMS
Music on HoldThe on hold music that will be played when the user puts a caller on hold
Specify pickup preferenceThis setting allows users to specify the accounts that will be picked up when they execute the Call Pickup (*87) feature. This setting is especially useful when extensions have been grouped with certain agent groups and hunt groups, as it will prevent the wrong calls from being picked up.
Specify call parking preferenceThis setting allows users to specify a list of parking groups that can be used for parking calls. When park groups have been entered into this field and the user executes the Call Park (*85) feature, the system chooses the first available orbit.
Send daily CDR report toAn email address that will be used to send the daily call records to
Send daily CDR report atThe time in 24 hour format (eg. 23:45) at 15 minute intervals
Device ManagementYou can connect a supported device to the user. This is for auto provisioning of the service on device

Record incoming calls to extensionThis setting controls the recording on an extension (applies to calls coming from another extension).
Record outgoing calls to internal numbersThis setting controls the recording on an extension (applies to calls going to another extension).
Record outgoing calls to external numbersThis setting controls the recording on an extension (applies to calls going to external numbers).
Record outgoing calls to emergency numbersThis setting controls the recording on an extension (applies to calls going to an emergency number).
